One of the most respected and loved pianists in the Netherlands, Cor
Bakker hosted a music program on Dutch television with his own
orchestra, in which he performed with stars such as Andrea Bocelli, Michel Legrand and
Lionel Richie.

At this festival Cor performs with Hermine Deurloo, who has the world at her feet
through her collaboration with top drummer Steve Gadd and Al Jarreau,
amongst many others. Last year Hermine performed a Tribute to Toots
Thielemans with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra in Brussels.

She is a virtuoso on the chromatic harmonica, an instrument made famous by
Toots Thielemans and Stevie Wonder and on which Hermine has developed
her own style and magical sound.

This evening, the music that the duo will play varies from film to
Brazilian music, as well as their own pieces. And the chance to do an
ode to Toots Thielemans will not be missed!

Cor and Hermine have been making music together for years and are
therefore a close but also sparkling duo .. and that energy touches your soul when you listen to them!
